A RMWB Transit Unit Membership Meeting will be held Tuesday February 14, 2023 at 7 p.m..

Nominations will be accepted for a temporary RMWB Transit Unit Vice President to join the 1505 Executive. This is to provide representation for the Transit Bargaining Unit. If a by-election is required (more than one nominee), ballots will be released following the meeting for no less than 24 hours in accordance with the CUPE 1505 Bylaws. A subsequent meeting will be held on Thursday February 16, 2023, if necessary, to provide the outcome of the by-election.

Those unable to attend and pursuing the temporary Transit VP position can nominate themselves in advance by emailing admin@cupe1505.ca. Members can also nominate other members by email. Nominees will be contacted prior to the meeting to verify if they are attending and wanting their name to stand. Please note, those nominated during the meeting and not in attendance will not be contacted. We suggest members pursuing the temporary Transit VP position to nominate themselves in advance if they are unable to attend.

This meeting is both on Zoom and can be attended in-person. Members attending through Zoom can do so by completing the registration, which is sent to them by email. When the meeting administrators receive registrations, they verify registrants are members in good standing and approve. Once approved, attendees will receive a meeting link in their email. Please do not share the meeting link, because it will be registered to each attendee’s name. Register as soon as possible to prevent delays in approving the registration.

Please note, the Zoom registration process is for security and reduces delays in starting and conducting the meeting.
